ONESOURCE Corporate Tax
Introduction to Corporate Tax
Concentrating on basic functions and features, attendees will develop knowledge of ONESOURCE Corporate Tax and the skills to prepare corporate tax computations and returns through the use of specially designed case studies.

No ONESOURCE Corporate Tax experience required
OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Navigate the interface in order to develop the sheets required to complete a corporate tax return for a company
- Analyse the expenses in the income statement for a company and make any necessary adjustments
- Analyse the balance sheet for a company including:
- Calculate the capital allowances for a company
- Complete a chargeable gains calculation for a disposal
- Use the software to calculate the quarterly payments on account for a company
- For an investment company, analyse the expenses of management
- Follow the appropriate steps to e-file a completed tax return
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
All novice or new users who will prepare or review corporation tax computations using ONESOURCE Corporate Tax.
PRICING
The fee for attending a scheduled delivery of this training module is £550 per person. Subject to minimum attendance and we reserve the right to change date where necessary.
The fee for delivery of a client specific course is £2000 for up to 10 attendees (plus T&E at cost).

Advanced Corporate Tax
The ONESOURCE Corporate Tax – Advanced course considers a variety of application features that are more complex or specialised than those included in creating a basic computation. It also considers troubleshooting techniques, particularly with the use of formulae.
The course initially concentrates on the Group module, before discussing Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR), and the topics listed below.

Tax Accounting - FRS102
This course introduces users to the new FRS102 tax accounting sheets in ONESOURCE Corporate Tax. The course will teach users how the current and deferred tax disclosures are prepared by extracting figures from the tax computation, helping to reduce time spent on tax reporting and tax computation processes as a whole. This course also teaches users how to complete the FRS102 group tax accounting sheets.

EXPERIENCE
This course builds upon and extends the knowledge that users would have already gained from the ONESOURCE Beginners and the ONESOURCE Group module course. To derive maximum benefit, users should possess sound knowledge of the concepts introduced in those courses coupled with a good understanding of the concepts of tax accounting. These are two areas which are not specifically addressed in this course.
OBJECTIVES
To enable users to develop, complete and use the tax accounting sheets within the software to create tax disclosures for inclusion in the financial statements.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Users of ONESOURCE Corporate Tax who are involved in the computation of tax provisions and the preparation of tax disclosures for inclusion in financial statements.

Tax Accounting - IFRS
This course introduces users to the IFRS tax accounting sheets in ONESOURCE Corporate Tax. The course focuses on how numbers are extracted from the tax computation to build up the current tax figures, helping to reduce time spent on tax reporting and tax computation processes as a whole, as well as how to prepare deferred tax disclosures using the balance sheet approach. This course also teaches users how to complete the group IFRS tax accounting sheets.

ONESOURCE Accounts Production/Statutory Reporting
Statutory Reporting Basic User
Concentrating on basic functions and features, attendees will develop knowledge of ONESOURCE Accounts Production through the use of a specially designed case study. We will also provide an introduction to iXBRL tagging.

- Importing trial balances
- Creating journals
- Creating statutory reports

Statutory Reporting Super User
This course is available only for delivery to one client at a time (up to 10 participants) – it is not scheduled.
This course builds on existing knowledge of, and experience with, OAP/OSR – ideally participants will arrive ‘armed’ with any questions or queries they have from their existing experience.
The course is structured in a formal way in the morning, with a specific agenda, but is of a more open format in the afternoon to address the topics and issues that are particularly relevant to the attendees.

EXPERIENCE
Experience of OAP/OSR following attendance of the Basic User course. It is expected that attendees are familiar with using OAP/OSR and with the accounts preparation process.
OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to demonstrate how to

- Set up the Spell-check Library
- Manage warnings (iXBRL and reports)
- Manage categories
- Manage template (organizational template and entity template)
- Manage Roll forward
